• Confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Master is acknowledging Him as the “the owner” of our lives that controls all we do; He decides what we do and He pays our wages. (John 20:28)
• God has made Jesus both Christ and Lord (Acts 2:36).
• Christ our Lord and Master must be obeyed, Obedience and honour are crucial requirement in our relationship with Christ as our Lord and Master (Luke 6:46 Deut 7:9, Deut 6:4-5, 7:21-23).

• The natural tendency of humans is to have control of their endeavors and resources, countries clamor for independence. This intrinsic nature of man makes it difficult to sometimes surrender to Christ as Lord and Master, but as believers, we need to surrender our thoughts, will and actions to the Lord and Master (1 Sam 8:5-7)
• It is by grace you can surrender to Him as your Lord and Master. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide you in this.
• Grow in His love; it will help you surrender more to Him.
• We must make a conscious decision of always saying “YES” to whatever our Lord and Master says and allow the Kingdom agenda take priority over our personal ambition and desires.
• Totally submit under the Lordship of Jesus for you can do nothing without Him (John 15:5-6) Christ as Lord and Master should have complete control and access to all facets of our lives, there should be no aspect of our lives that He should not be able to access and control including our relationships, career, business, studies and finances.
• Christ as the Lord means “owner”, we need to surrender and extol His name as our Lord and Master. You cannot serve 2 masters. (Matthew 6:24)
• Believers that are placed in privileged positions of authority should relate with others justly and fairly (Col 4:1)
• Believers should be exemplary in obeying authorities as far as it is does not contradict the scripture and the laws of the land.( Ephesians 6:5, Titus 3:1)

• Christ qualifies to be our advocate because he always listens and never condemns, He is righteous and as such has the right to stand before the righteous God (1 John 2:1, John 8:3-11).
• Christ as our advocate comes to with love and a gentle spirit instead of judgement (1 Corin 4:21)
• Christ is interested in our eternity, His desire for us to ultimately have our fellowship reconciled to the father (1 John 2:2)

• Christ as our advocate sits at the right hand of the Father, praying for us, interceding on our behalf. Make use of your attorney in all you do.
• It is important that when we go through tough times, we do not give up, it is in the challenges of life, that our characters are strengthened, and we should solely depend on our reliable advocate.
• We need to constantly remind ourselves that Christ stands as the Advocate between our repentant hearts and the law. His blood has paid the price through faith and confession of Him as Lord (Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:21),
• Christ has paid the price of our sins and we have been pronounced not guilty, let us walk in the understanding of what Christ has done (Romans 8:1; Colossians 2:14).
• Jesus qualifies as a credible and reliable advocate because He is astute, he has experienced what we are going through and He can be relied upon to see us through. He is full of empathy (Hebrews 4:15)
• Believers should show mercy to one another just as Christ shows mercy in place of judgement. Grace is available through our Advocate (Matthew 5:7)
• Christ as an advocate is accessible to everyone, as believers, we should be accessible to others even if they are not of the same social status as us, let our relationship be based on genuine love or what we can get in return.
• Christ has a track record of winning, He is not a loser. Hallelujah, you have the best advocate

• Jesus is called the son of God because His birth is divine- He was conceived by the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35).
• Christ the Son of God has power to forgive sin. (Matt 9:1-8, Mark 2:10).
• The motivation of sending His son is love (John 3:16)
• As the Son of God, He has power to heal the sick, cast out demons and perform all manner of miracles.

• Jesus Christ being called the Lamb of God simply means He is the perfect sacrifice for sin (John 1:29, John 1:36)
• Jesus as our redeemer means he paid the ultimate Price for a debt He did not owe.
