(John 20:28)</li><li>God has made Jesus both Christ and Lord (Acts 2:36).</li><li>Christ our Lord and Master must be obeyed, Obedience and honour are crucial requirement in our relationship with Christ as our Lord and Master (Luke 6:46 Deut 7:9, Deut 6:4-5, 7:21-23).</li><li>The Holy Spirt gives the divine enablement to call Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3)</li><li>Christ has the authority to be our Lord and Master (Matthew 28:18, Ephesians 1:22).</li><li>Humility precedes authority in the Kingdom, (Philippians 2:8-11)</li><li>As believers professing Christ as Lord and Master, we must be willing to submit our wills and wants to the Will of our Lord and seek for the advancement of His kingdom even when it is not convenient (Mark 14:36)</li><li>Believers should be weary of false teachings that cunningly derail our true confession and actions enthroning Jesus as Lord and Master (Jude 1:4).</li><li>As believers, we will most certainly be confronted with difficult choices where our allegiance is tested, and the consequences may seem tough, but we should not give up or change our confession of Christ as Lord and Master (Matthew 22:15-22)</li><li>When we call Him Lord and Master, we are giving glory to God Almighty and giving honour and respect to Christ Jesus that He can do all things as He pleases (Matt 8:2, 1Tim 6:1-2)</li><li> </li></ul></div>

This intrinsic nature of man makes it difficult to sometimes surrender to Christ as Lord and Master, but as believers, we need to surrender our thoughts, will and actions to the Lord and Master (1 Sam 8:5-7)</li><li>It is by grace you can surrender to Him as your Lord and Master. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide you in this.</li><li>Grow in His love; it will help you surrender more to Him.</li><li>We must make a conscious decision of always saying &#8220;YES&#8221; to whatever our Lord and Master says and allow the Kingdom agenda take priority over our personal ambition and desires.</li><li>Totally submit under the Lordship of Jesus for you can do nothing without Him (John 15:5-6) Christ as Lord and Master should have complete control and access to all facets of our lives, there should be no aspect of our lives that He should not be able to access and control including our relationships, career, business, studies and finances.</li><li>Christ as the Lord means “owner”, we need to surrender and extol His name as our Lord and Master. You cannot serve 2 masters. (Matthew 6:24)</li><li>Believers that are placed in privileged positions of authority should relate with others justly and fairly (Col 4:1)</li><li>Believers should be exemplary in obeying authorities as far as it is does not contradict the scripture and the laws of the land.( Ephesians 6:5, Titus 3:1)</li></ul></div>

(1 John 1:9)</li><li>Christ as our Advocate enables the father to accept us into His family as legitimate children (John 1:12)</li><li>Christ as our advocate intercedes for us (Rom 8:34)</li><li>The advocacy role of Christ is entrenched in love (John 3:16)</li><li>Christ as our advocate has an experiential knowledge of what we are going through and not just theoretical. He experienced hunger, rejection, humiliation and paid the ultimate price of sin- Death (Hebrews 4:15; 9:28; John 8:29)</li><li>Believers can still go through traumatic and difficult times with Christ being their advocate, He has promised to be with us when we go through tough times, our relationship with Christ does not exempt us from challenges of Life (Isaiah 43:2)</li><li>It is important we are honest with Christ just as solicitors require the truth from their clients in order to defend them effectively. Confess and forsake your sins. (1John 1:9, Proverbs 28:13)</li></ul></div>

He is full of empathy (Hebrews 4:15)</li><li>Believers should show mercy to one another just as Christ shows mercy in place of judgement. Grace is available through our Advocate (Matthew 5:7)</li><li>Christ as an advocate is accessible to everyone, as believers, we should be accessible to others even if they are not of the same social status as us, let our relationship be based on genuine love or what we can get in return.</li><li>Christ has a track record of winning, He is not a loser.
