- Growth and mastery of the scripture is a function of consistent practicing of the scriptures through the help of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:10-11;).
- Be accountable. Have people around you that will hold you to the standards expected in scriptures.
- Celebrate and build on the small wins. It is a lifelong process.
- Sometimes, believers fail to practice the scripture due to lack of faith or immaturity, we should keep on practicing the scripture until we get it right.
- Remember the role of prayer in accessing that grace to help.
- It starts from the heart. Honesty is a key requirement in the practice of the scriptures, let the motive be genuine and not for a showoff like the pharisees.
- It is a process. Practice makes perfect, the more we practice the scripture, more grace is released so we find it even easier to do.
- Do not get discouraged if you slip, pick yourself back up.
- Practice builds up the credibility and integrity of your walk with God. Only the practitioners make lasting impact. (James 2:14-18)
- The Holy Spirit helps believers to overcome the dictates of the flesh so we can practice the scriptures effectively.
- Be determined like an athlete to succeed in your practice of the scripture, let your life reflect the scriptures
- Allow the scriptures be your mirror that gives a true picture of your standing in Christ, work on any area where you need amends such as relationship with God, family , career, business and studies.
- The sweet Holy Spirit of God enables believers to practice the scriptures effectively, rely on the communion of the Holy spirit.
