- Giving is a spiritual exercise and an act of service to God which should be from the place of love and generous heart (2 Cor 9:6-8, 1 John 3:17-18).
- Everyone has something to give, there is no one without something to offer. We can give our time, our resources, our talents and abilities-whatever God has given to us. Never hoard was God has given unto you (Proverbs 11:25, Acts 6:4).
- The wisdom of God encourages us to still give. (Gen 26:1, 12-14)
- Giving to others is tandem to giving to God and it will always attract the blessings of God. (Pro 19:17, Pro 11:24-25. Heb 13:16-18, 2 Corin 9:7-8).

- Christians should understand that their resources belong to God, be strategic in your giving, it is not every ground that is a fertile ground to sow, prayerfully identify the best soil to sow. Your yield is affected by the soil. Be guided by the Holy spirit. (Matthew 13:1-9)
- If you are already a giver, do not stop giving but if you are not, ask for the grace to always give because it opens the windows of heaven (Mal 3:7-10)
- In God’s economy, giving is an investment that yields multiple dividends that the givers may not be able to fathom (Luke 6:38, Job 29:12-13)
- It is scriptural that there will always be some poor and needy people around us so as we generously gift them, God rejoices and secures our source of income (Duet 15:11, Proverbs 19:17)
- Look for opportunities to be a blessing to someone, make a positive impact in the life of people, build people and you will receive blessing
- God rewards our labor of love, get involved in the act of giving and see the heavens open over you
- Believers should never give for the wrong motives as we will be short-changing ourselves.
- Money is not as important to God than our relationship with Him, let us give our time, heart, resources to our relationship with God and families (Proverbs 23:26)
- Our giving should not be limited to God, we should also give to the poor and needy, family and friends as well.
