• Christ qualifies to be our advocate because he always listens and never condemns, He is righteous and as such has the right to stand before the righteous God (1 John 2:1, John 8:3-11).
• Christ as our advocate comes to with love and a gentle spirit instead of judgement (1 Corin 4:21)
• Christ is interested in our eternity, His desire for us to ultimately have our fellowship reconciled to the father (1 John 2:2)
• Christ, our advocate raises the banner of mercy in place of Judgement. (1 John 1:9)
• Christ as our Advocate enables the father to accept us into His family as legitimate children (John 1:12)
• Christ as our advocate intercedes for us (Rom 8:34)
• The advocacy role of Christ is entrenched in love (John 3:16)
• Christ as our advocate has an experiential knowledge of what we are going through and not just theoretical. He experienced hunger, rejection, humiliation and paid the ultimate price of sin- Death (Hebrews 4:15; 9:28; John 8:29)
• Believers can still go through traumatic and difficult times with Christ being their advocate, He has promised to be with us when we go through tough times, our relationship with Christ does not exempt us from challenges of Life (Isaiah 43:2)
• It is important we are honest with Christ just as solicitors require the truth from their clients in order to defend them effectively. Confess and forsake your sins. (1John 1:9, Proverbs 28:13)

• Christ as our advocate sits at the right hand of the Father, praying for us, interceding on our behalf. Make use of your attorney in all you do.
• It is important that when we go through tough times, we do not give up, it is in the challenges of life, that our characters are strengthened, and we should solely depend on our reliable advocate.
• We need to constantly remind ourselves that Christ stands as the Advocate between our repentant hearts and the law. His blood has paid the price through faith and confession of Him as Lord (Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:21),
• Christ has paid the price of our sins and we have been pronounced not guilty, let us walk in the understanding of what Christ has done (Romans 8:1; Colossians 2:14).
• Jesus qualifies as a credible and reliable advocate because He is astute, he has experienced what we are going through and He can be relied upon to see us through. He is full of empathy (Hebrews 4:15)
• Believers should show mercy to one another just as Christ shows mercy in place of judgement. Grace is available through our Advocate (Matthew 5:7)
• Christ as an advocate is accessible to everyone, as believers, we should be accessible to others even if they are not of the same social status as us, let our relationship be based on genuine love or what we can get in return.
• Christ has a track record of winning, He is not a loser. Hallelujah, you have the best advocate
