• Jesus is called the son of God because His birth is divine- He was conceived by the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35).
• Christ the Son of God has power to forgive sin. (Matt 9:1-8, Mark 2:10).
• The motivation of sending His son is love (John 3:16)
• As the Son of God, He has power to heal the sick, cast out demons and perform all manner of miracles.
• Christ was declared to be the son of God in power (Rom 1:4). His resurrection was the ultimate proof.
• When you believe that Christ is the Son of God and receive Him that regard, He will give you power to become a son of God (John 1:12).
• Christ as the son of God is an identity, even Satan and demons recognised his identity as the son of God. (Mark 3:11, Acts 19:15).
• Believing that Christ is the Son of God gives us Life. (John 20:30-31)

• The deity of Christ is one of the most fundamental truths that has been debated by non-believers throughout history. However, it is the core pillar Christianity and must be defended and taught. Jesus Christ was not a man trying to be God, rather it was God who became a man (Is 9:6).
• The knowledge of whom Christ is the bedrock of the church (Matt 16:15-18)
• An understanding of the benefits and responsibilities of Sonship gives us a good understanding of what is expected of us and our position in Christ Jesus.
• Just as Adam was referred to as “son of God” (Luke 3:18), God is very interested in making us live the reality of being Sons of God. We need to honor the father in order to maintain our status as sons of God

• Identity is an important protocol in the realms of the spirit. we need to be conscious of our identity as sons of God and not do things that comprises our position. (Acts 19:15, Mark 3:11).
• The secret of sonship is in communion and staying with the source (Luke 15:31)
• We have been called to walk as sons/daughters of God (John 1:12)
