  • Help us appreciate that there is an urgency to make Jesus known to the entire world.
  • Recognise that there is a heavenly call for believers to respond to the “recruitment” drive for dedicated and committed people that would make Jesus known to the entire universe.
  • Appreciate that making Jesus known is a demonstration of our Love for humanity.
  • Help us now that believers have been given the exalted and important ministry of reconciling the unbelieving world to God.
  • Appreciate that there is a desperate cry for help from the unsaved that require the obedience of believers.
  • Understand that the demand of making Jesus known cuts across races and age.

  • Making Jesus Known is a basic calling for all Christian believers (Matt 28:18-20, Act 1:8)
  • God created us to know Him, serve Him and lead others to Him through Jesus Christ (Luke 1:74, Exodus 8:1)
  • The joy and beauty of being a practicing Christian is the grace and ability to influence to know Jesus (John 5:24)
  • Making Jesus Known is a commandment and a great commission (Mark 16:15, Matt 28:18-19)
  • The purpose of making Jesus known to the world is to make people be more like Christ. It is the restoration of lost glory that was lost through the sin of Adam. (Gen 1:26, Ephesians 4:13, 2 Cor 3:18).
  • The entire universe is our target audience, make Jesus known everywhere you go to (Mark 16,15). Jesus came for the poor, the sick, the hopeless etc, we need to reach out to all these people with the good news (Isaiah 61:1-3)

  • Making Jesus known is very necessary. If people do not hear the gospel, they cannot believe. We need to deliberately, both in words and deeds, tell people about Jesus (Rom10:14-15).
  • Sharing your faith with others is a way of demonstrating the love of Christ, let everyone around know you love them (John 21:16-17).
  • God has a purpose for everyone, in making Jesus known, we must align with His will and dictates., failure to do this is synonymous with carrying out our own agenda rather than the father’s business (1 peter 1:15-16, Roman 8:29)
  • The world is in desperate need for people that would bring hope and salvation to those that are hopeless, the afflicted and oppressed.
  • We should be passionate for souls detest sin but love the sinners. (John 4:31-34)
  • In making Jesus known, we should let love be at the center of all we do.
  • We need to spend time in the study and meditation of the bible; do not allow a seemingly limited knowledge of the bible discourage us from sharing Jesus (John 9:25).
  • Be determined to be the salt and light wherever you go to. Be authentic, our story/testimony is more effective than the words of our month. The Jesus we make known to others must be evident in our lives.
  • Grant Jesus access to your network including your social media.
